I believe the best approach to coaching is a focus on clear, effective communication.This involves listening, understanding and making any recommendations crystal clear. I will help you to assess your goals and prioritize the different pressures in your life that may inhibit your progress.

I also encourage a strong educative component to our interactions. The goal of this approach is two fold .

  •  First, using my scientific background I will help you understand the different physiologic components that contribute to your performance on and off the bike.  I will also teach you how to specifically train these components and how to listen to your body to achieve the best possible performance.
  •  Second, through this learning you will become more independent and less reliant on me.  Although I hate to lose clients, hopefully with the right tools you will know better than me how to train to meet your goals.
